Here's what changed in the Wunderite API with the release on January 7th, 2026.

What's changed

Vehicle data expansion

Vehicle Risk Data now supports 11 new fields:

customer_vehicle_number
body_type
class
symbol_age
purchase_date
is_fleet
seat_capacity
gross_vehicle_weight
gross_combined_weight
horse_power
garage_location

There are new vehicle_use values:

clergy
commute
show
work_school_less_than_15
work_school_more_than_15

All vehicle_use values are now supported for both commercial and personal vehicles. Previously, it was a limited subset for personal vehicles; now, all values are accepted for both types.

New workers' compensation code state

We have added support for the state of Washington (WA) to both the workers' compensation class codes and workers' compensation endpoints.
